This recipe takes me back to the days of school camps where we would take banana, marshmallow and chocolate, wrap it in foil and heat it over our campfire! I've recreated this recipe so that it can be enjoyed by the whole family. You can swap up the toppings with a variety of ingredients including sugar free marshmallow, dark agave or just keep it simple by just sprinkling cinnamon.
Baked Banana Parcels
1 t cinnamon
1 tbsp dark organic chocolate
1 tbsp crushed nuts (macadamia, almonds and/or hazelnuts)
LETS MAKE IT
Preheat oven to 180 degrees on bake.
Peel banana and slice it in half lengthwise. Lay on tin foil. Sprinkle with cinnamon, arrange with cinnamon, dark organic chocolate and crushed nuts.
Wrap the foil around the banana to form a parcel, put on a baking tray and place in the oven baking for 15 minutes.
Transfer parcel from oven to plate and serve.
