Low Carb Sugar Free Chocolate Hazelnut Truffles

I love to indulge as much as the next person and for so long, I thought I was missing out on treats. I quickly realised there are so many ways to get the fix you're craving by creating a recipe yourself at home! When I created this recipe to create my much loved Ferrero Rocher flavours of hazelnut and chocolate. I had previously created a Clean Ferrero Rocher recipe but I wanted a simplified version that was quick to make, used minimum ingredients and was low in carbs. Also having just discovered Healtheries Sugar Free Chocolate, I'd have to say that it is the only sugar free chocolate I've tasted that tastes like the real thing! Better yet, it uses natural stevia to sweetened which as you will know is my favourite. 


Low Carb Sugar Free Chocolate Hazelnut Truffles

INGREDIENTS

2 cups whole hazelnuts, roasted and husked
1/2 cup hazelnuts crushed
1/2 cup Healtheries Sugar Free Chocolate, melted
1/4 cup ground almonds
1/2 teaspoon coconut oil
1/4 cup coconut cream

LETS MAKE IT

Take your whole hazelnuts and add these to a food processor pulse until crumbed. Add ground almonds along with the melted chocolate, coconut oil and coconut cream and blend until smooth. 

Scoop out 2 tablespoon of mixture and roll into a ball. Roll in crushed hazelnut and transfer into the fridge for at least 30 minutes to set.
